First time ordering from MoYou- the strips are more of a sticker feeling rather than a gel nail. Would need a top coat. Two nails came off after only few hours and had to reapply.
I can't say that I fully understand the developer's logic. Some patterns are very large, the size of a man's thumb, others (like the French tip) are microscopic. The engraving quality is good, but I'm still testing it.
Love these. They are so easy to apply. So natural looking and last way longer than normal gel on me.
Full transparency - I have never used press ons before. I used to have gel mani’s until a couple of years ago when I got the dreaded contact dermatitis and thought that was the end of glossy nails for me. I have tried a few alternatives including wraps which are great but only last a couple of days, so when I saw these I thought I would give them a whirl.
I’m not going to lie - it is a bit of a faff. (Hence the 4 stars rather than 5.) Firstly you need the eyesight of an Eagle to be able to see the numbers on the nails and then once you have got that sorted, you need to not stick your fingers together with the pads, or stick EVERYTHING together with the glue, which is superglue.
Once I got the hang of it I managed to get them on but I also got glue on the top of the nails, which obscures the glossiness but TBH I didn’t have the energy to remove / start again so I am just hoping it wears off.
I clipped and filed them down quite a bit as they were far too long for my job etc and they look lovely and feel very secure - they also have the added benefit of being really tough so won’t peel back etc in the way wraps do. I am hoping they will last for at least a week.
I love the styles and how easy they are to apply. They last really well,
