MoYou London Gel Nail Strips are applied similarly to nail wraps, but they are made of real gel polish and therefore lasts for up to 3 weeks without damaging the nail.

With MoYou London Gel Nail Strips you can get fresh-looking nails without visiting the nail salon or spending hours designing your nails.

There is hardly any damage to the nail! The products are semi-cured which means they have been hardened by a UV light during production (not on the nails!), so you get a gel strip which can be applied as a sticker. It’s easy to remove with a wooden stick which you can dip in acetone. 

How To

What you'll need :

★ MoYou London Gel Nail Wrap

★ MoYou London UV/LED Lamp

★ Scissors or nail clippers

★ Cotton pads

★ Acetone

How to apply the nail wraps:

1) Wash your hands with soap and make sure your cuticles are pushed back.

2) Wipe your nails with acetone to remove any oil and let them dry.

3) Open your MoYou London Gel Nail Strips and take out the contents.

4) Select the right size for each of your nails and cuticle shape.

5) Remove the clear film that protects the individual gel strip you wish to apply.

6)Carefully lift the gel strip off the film.

7) Place the strip close to your cuticle without touching it.

★If the wrap doesn't fit your nail you can stretch it!

8) Press down firmly onto the nail to smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles.

9) Trim any excess of the strip with scissors or nail clippers.

10) File the nail with the strip for a smooth finish.

11) Make sure the strips do not exceed your nail length.

12) Using MoYou London UV/LED lamp cure the strips for 60 seconds (it may take longer) to harden them. Cure up to 3 times if needed.

How to remove the nail wraps:

1) Apply nail acetone around the edge of the strips.

2) Wet the orange stick in acetone and use it to gently lift the strip and slowly get it off your nail. Slowly slide the orange stick under the strip back and forth until it easily comes off. Use more acetone if necessary.

★Avoid lifting the strips harshly to prevent nail damage.

3) Use a cotton pad with acetone to clean your nails.

Size

All our Gel Nail Strips are 24mm long. The width goes from 8.5 mm for the smallest size to 16mm for the largest.

★ You can stretch the stickers a little with your fingers before applying them on your nails to make sure they fit!

Tips

✦  If you think a nail strip won't fit your nail, you can strech it gently with your fingers before applying it.

✦  Avoid contact with water during the first hour after curing your nail wraps.

✦  You can stamp over the gel strips!

✦  After removal, let your nails breathe for a few days before applying any other nail product.

✦  You can apply gel top coat at the end for extra shine!

Gorgeous Over Mylee Gel Tips

These are so pretty. I used them on top of the Mylee Fix n Flash Short Almond Gel Tips because my natural nails were all different lengths and shapes - and because I’m not good at shaping nails using my non-dominant hand.
I was nervous adhesion to the gel tips wouldnt be great, but i buffed off the shiny surface with a nail file, used a prep wipe to dehydrate and applied the strips.

The gel strips can become distorted if you arent careful when stretching, but once I had found the knack of placing centrally on the nail and using the wooden stick to help pull them to both sides, it was a simple enough process. I loved how easy the excess filed off, and they didnt take long to cure. I didnt add a top coat until the next day but they were so solid i wasnt worried.

Pros
• no lifting after 10 days & counting.
• pretty design
• simple to use (but not quick)
• seem to be withstanding hair washing & styling & skincare and sunscreen etc
• compatible with mylee gel tips

Cons
• not sure how to remove them after sealing with top coat (that sealed the edges down so the MoYou instructions for removal dont seem to account for that)
• the top coat i used was repelled by the gel tip (think oil in water) which i didnt notice until after i’d cured. Its not noticeable unless inspecting the nails, but i know its there. Not sure if a con of gel tips or of top coat but just add your top coat to one nail and see how it behaves. Flash cure if need be. Working quickly will help.
• the gel tips can fold & crease so beware when sticking them down

Overall really glad i bought them, i can’t wait to use my next set!!

Perfect to grow and keep nails long

I've been using Moyou for months and months now and have a subscription. They are amazing and I tell everyone to get them. Putting them on can take as quick as 30 mins but I take my time it's like my weekend ritual. They stay on up to 2 weeks and keep my nails feeling strong - the longest I've had them on is just over two but I usually get bored and change them before that. I'd recommend putting on a gel top coat and curing if you're keeping your nails long but since you have the sticker on it doesn't ruin or damage your actual nail. My only request would be that they include the designs for the press on nails in the stickers where they can because they look amazing but I will be sticking to the stickers as they've worked so well for me and I like to keep my natural nails long.
